AFFILIATED TO THE ANGLING TRUST WYVERN DIVISION AND BRITISH CONGER CLUB
The Torbay and Babbacombe Association of Sea Anglers (T&BASA) was formed in 1994 as a result of the merger of the
Torbay ASA (formed in 1947) and the Babbacombe Sea Anglers Association (formed in 1966).
We do not own any club premises but this very much enables us to focus our efforts on our main aim, which is to promote
and encourage the pastime of sea fishing.We have a very healthy mix of both shore and boat anglers and try to structure our
competitions accordingly. We are increasingly moving towards “Catch and Release” matches that encourage conservation
of the fish stocks.
